Cass norrowed his eyes towards Adrien's comment, his frustration easing up immediately as he continued eating his pickle. Ah, his brother could be such a pain sometimes he swore he thought sometimes it was he who acted like the elder brother around the household. He shook his head as he continued eating as he waved a bit, "I'm tired. Some jackass thought it was funny to put some Whiz-bangs under my bed making me wake up extra early this morning. SO, NO. Seriously. I'll pass." He said flatly as he looked at Adrien pointedly, suspecting him behind it all.

As he continued eating, he sensed December walking over. He continued chewing, not really minding that she was coming over and when she greeted him, he looked up and arched his eyebrows. No one could actually tell what Cassius was thinking at times, his eyes continued to bore into December's as he wondered what she wanted with him now.

"Hey yourself. Aren't you swimming?" He asked casually before looking back at the lake, trying to see if his brother was going to pull a dodgey act.

He had the urge to act as a piranha; really, he did. It was either the good old pouncing on Rebecca and mimicing biting her head off or diving down into the depths of the lake and subtly lunge at her feet. If only. he had decided not to however, as it'd come across as slightly weird and he was sure that December would more or less likely haunt him that night. Like most nights when he would often come home either half drunk or when he had suggestively embarrassed her that day.

Smirking, he thrashed around a little in the water, feeling his blood run cold against the silkiness of the stream. He was a child at heart, that what he was. A child. He was an adult yes, but sometimes you didn't need to grow up to prove anything.

Surfacing against the water, he glanced around. He noticed December edge herself closer to Cassius and his eyes narrowed. WHilst he wanted everything resolved, he didn't want Cee to commit into anything with Cassius, or vice versa for that matter. He'd need to keep an eye out.

Thoughtful, the girl leant towards the picnic basket which sat at arms length, scrumming through the pile of goods, she withrew a diet pop, unflagging it with a fizz. The tingle of summer drinks eloped her senses and she took a swig, for once savoring the amounts of sugary nothingness. It was low in carbs, so that was okay. "Drink? We have... soda, beer, juice and I think that looks like breezers or something..." Trailing off, the girl cupped the drink in her hands, her eyes gazed at her friends.

This was it, she had realised. This was where she wanted to be. Watching those close to her, someone of Cassius's remarks by her side, sunlight coming through her curls, the ability to cherish the moment was major to the girl and she remained silent for a minute, breathing in the scent of honeysuckle, cotton and foxgloves.

"Not yet. Later maybe. Or until Adrien threatens to drown me." murmured the girl, the icy can dissolving around the warmth of her fingertips. Letting out a relaxed sigh, she drew her legs close to her chest, resting her chin against the concave of the lithe knees. "How about you?"

Rebecca felt the water around her moving only slightly as she swam through it. She smiled. Lakes were always relaxing. She closed her eyes and ducked under swimming. She bumped into Adrien as she swam and came up beside him. "Sorry," she said apologetically blushing a little bit as she looked at up him. She moved away slightly floating beside him.

She looked towards December up on land and smiled at her. The day was quite perfect for a lake day. "Sorry about earlier Cassius," she called apologetically trying to hide a bit of a laugh remembering soaking him.

Cassius' head was not exactly that organized during this time. It was too far from organized in fact. He had been thinking about the lake, towards his brother, then to what had happened a few days ago. He almost chuckled at the plain irony; why just a few days ago he was just about a centimeter close to crushing this fragile girl in front of him, and he was also just as close to trying to hurt his own brother, hating both their guts. Look at them now, acting as though those things had never happened as they take their time in this lake, having a picnic. That didn't have to mean he stopped hating them for the things they did and said that day though. But just for good measure, he let it slide for now.

His attention shifted to December as he watched her closely; carelessly opening the basket up as she gave him a list of the drinks that were inside. A gentle smile came across his features, looking quite foreign for someone such as Cassius. He was thinking to himself that perhaps this was her way of apologizing to him for the things she had said that day, how unusual.

As December looked towards the lake, he mimicked her actions. Spotting Adrien and Rebecca swimming, looking like they were having fun, and perhaps knowing Adrien, this was only the beginning. "Beer." He muttered plainly as he rubbed his throat; it was rather dry. Damn it all, he wasn't usually up this early.

"Ah, Cass started as he cleared his throat; he was actually aching for a cigarette. It would have hit a spot right about then. He looked back at December and shrugged, "Maybe. I suppose it wouldn't be too long from now till Adrien tries to pull me into the water." He looked back at his brother and had a small light bulb moment inside his head, a smirk spread across his face as he may have had the most brilliant idea yet; it might piss Adrien off a lot, but that's just what he was going to aim for.

Hearing Rebecca's apology, he looked at her, smiling more to himself, acting quite out of character actually as he waved back. She picks up names quickly, he realized. "No problem. I just have to dry my shirt up now." He trailed off, wanting to grin as he wanted to put his plan into action.

Feelling a slight pressure halt against his back, the man glanced towards his offender, but nevertheless smiled at the girl, winking at her and slowly paddling towards the shore. he had suddenly realized with a pang that he hadn't eaten in well over 12 hours; impossible for a man of his age and species; if you got what he meant. little beads of lake water rippling down his toned body, he hoisted himself out of the lake, dark tanned skin emollient against the sunshine.

He shaded his eyes, turning towards the lake. "Come on, Bec. Chow time." He called, indicating towards where his two other accompaniments lounged by, seemingly in that of a testy and awkward conversation. Shaking his head, the werewolf jostled over, planting himself next to December, an arm around her protectively. He trusted Cassius, yes. He just didn't' trust December all too much.

Reaching for a beer, the boy smirked at his brother, raising his beer in acknowledgement as he took a full swig, now turning towards Becca, waiting for her to join them.

Rebecca saw his wink and bit her lip. She was trying so hard not to blush. She was a bit fascinated by Adrien. He was attractive after all. She hadn't thought about anyone else the whole time she was there. Just December and Adrien and Cassius were on her mind. But that was probably a good thing considering she was at their home.

"I'm coming," she called swimming towards the shore. She stepped out of the lake and dripped all over the shore from the lake. She walked towards them. Her body shining off the reflection of the sun on her tanned skin. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself slowly. Than she went and sat down with all of them.

She took out a beer wondering if they would stop her. She smoothed back her hair and than opened the bottle. She smiled at them and than took a sip.

Heat waves were now present and the clouds seemed to flow against the atmosphere; the previous threats of rain decreasing by a little over 90%. Larks seemed to circle the pair in a circular formalization but as December tilted her head, they seemed to separate. What seemed like a reliably smaller bird however loomed ahead; and flitted around as if lost. It seemed panic ridden and December couldn't deny the pitting sensation of connection between the baby bird and it's detached family.

She sighed yet her expression didn't change; it remained intact, dreamy, relaxed. And if anyone asked if she was perfectly peaceful, she'd lie. Forbidding herself to open her mouth; not desiring a flashback to appear, she stared ahead of her, her clear eyes fixed upon the forget me not sky. A light breeze interrupted her musing train, and she twitched noticeably as the delicate strands of her honeyed hair splayed against her collar bone.

However a warm pressure seemed to rest itself upon her and the familiar scent of cassia trees, musk, driftwood and muggle cologne filtered up her senses and she smiled lightly. The essence of Adrien was comforting to a larger extend. Nestling against her best friend, her fingers splayed against the rough surface of his arm and she momentarily wondered how much physical pain it meant transforming, and how much emotional suffering it would bring whenever he looked himself in the mirror and told himself that he had killed his lover in cold murder.

Rebecca now emerged from the water and her eyes leant against her friends figure, jealously tipping against awe. Bec was beautiful, sexy, a woman. She had boobs, she seemed tan, she had a gap between her thighs and her limbs were slender, her stomach iron board flat. She has sass, as she slowly loped to the trio, opting a beer for herself. Rebecca was not much older than December, but she appeared at least twenty. Stiffening against Adrien’s arms, December had the familiar urge to not eat for a good three days. It was a familiar sensation and she was all too good at playing the game.

“The day is sweet. I like it. The waters pretty. I like water; it goes places.” She muttered to herself, watching the sun speckle against the ripples, crystals in a cave.

He continued to watch the two submerging themselves underwater, splashing out and about looking like they had the time of their lives. This was healthy for them, he supposed. After everything that happened a few days back a breath of fresh air was definitely needed for every one of them. He took the beer December offered and took a big gulp, looking at the exchange his brother and Rebecca and smirked. Ah, leave it to Adrien to let a young girl blush. Cassius had heard all about Adrien’s former escapades and it somehow made him reach to the point that nothing would surprise him anymore.

Since the young lass beside him stopped talking, he assumed she just wanted to relax. Fine by him really. He continued to watch his brother swimming and getting back in shore, heading towards them. Adrien and him used to be so close, he often caught himself thinking. Since the woman of their lives showed up their doorstep, they have grown distant. Too distant for his liking, he admitted but it all came down to what Adrien had done. He remembered what had transpired after he found out, recalling all the awkward times as they sat across each other during supper. The tension filling the room as their parents continued to eat and talk about the weather nonchalantly, not knowing what had happened. Then on even talking to each other seemed more than a task than anything really. Their conversations becoming superficial, although people thought they seemed just as close, but hell they thought wrong.

He smiled a little at one thought though, that was all in the past; the fact that they were slowly building up what they had lost just brightened him up a bit, even if they had one hell of a row just a few days ago.

Adrien plopped himself beside December and raised his beer, he mimicked him and took a sip as he leaned back, watching Rebecca get out of the water. Jesus, how could someone so young have THAT kind of body? He shook his head and ruffled his hair; this would have been awesome if he had a news paper to read or something. As the wind hit his face, he sighed contentedly, looking at his brother, then towards December who seemed to be talking to herself. Nothing new, he supposed. “Adrien, Cassius spoke up, his tone surprisingly light as his attention darted back to his brother. “A quick game of faux quidditch sounds good right about now, don’t you reckon?” He would have wanted a bit of alone time with his twin, he supposed coming to terms would be the most sensible thing to do at that moment.

He swivelled his head to see young Rebecca drink, he didn’t stop her either. Hell, if he would he’d be a hypocrite for he had done the same thing one too many times. If he’s lucky enough he could probably see her drunk, which could possibly be amusing. Especially when Adrien’s around too.

Hot damn; that was a girl. No not a girl, a lucky teenager who had hit the genetics jackpot. He raised an eyebrow, before glancing at his brother; a smirk lingering against his lips. He could hear December mumbling but he all too well knew that it was just that of her simple notifications which he didn’t often pay much attention to. But if he ever did, which was rarely; her simple sentences barely ever made sense to him. skim against fingertips. Something he had noticed was that his best friends locks felt and smelt remarkably like Marion’s. Watermelon, vanilla and silk. It was the same texture, downy curls; light and boardering the lines of frizzy. She reminded him of her yet Adrien wasn’t too sure if that was a good thing or not.

Hearing his name be acknowledged he turned his attention away from December towards his brother. He could sense a fore-coming plan which Cassius probably had in mind; and the werewolf shrugged, releasing his hold from December and picking himself up from the ground.

“Ci, why don’t you have some girl talk to Rebecca. Talk about boys, make-up, pregnancy, cats; whatever you girls talk about. Swooping down to plant a light kiss on her forehead, he then turned to Cassius, beer in hand. “Onwards ho; brother bear.” The man joked, tousling a hand through his dark locks.. Just going to have some one-on-one man quidditch.”

As Rebecca stepped out of the lake she felt their eyes on her body. Pretending not to notice she finished wrapping her towel around her body. She smirked at Cassius as he looked at her and than winked at him and Adrien. She grinned and took a sip of her beer.

"Oh who wouldn't love to see the boys playing Quidditch," she said smirking playfully. Than she smiled at December and grabbed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Oh the two girls would talk, but she'd also have her eyes on the game.

She watched the boys leave and grinned at December. "They're pretty hot. You're lucky to live with them." she said blushing slightly as she said this to her friend.

Watching men play quidditch would be fun; December had realised. Of course, she had seen the two without shirts on countless occasions, hell Adrien and her had full out conversations in their underwear maybe every second week and Cassius was seen moping around shirtless on many occasions so December had by now, gotten used to their appearance of obvious attractiveness. She had to admit however, that whenever she saw the two slumped around the house in minimal clothing; or out in the garden abiding to their mothers pleas of the more manly work, it did send goosebumps up her spine and caused her heart to jitter slightly. Even at the sight of Adrien who she had seen full-out naked at one point (accident of course), often impressed her with his six pack and toned muscles.

She smiled as her friend got up and watched their retreating backs, her eyes scrutinizing their shadows as they walked a little ahead. Now turning to Bec, she smiled at her friend. "They are." she muttered in agreement, Cassius's looming face upon her mind. "Maybe, but it does have it's downs. Like the fights..." December mentioned, her voice trailing off uncomfortably, now using the oppourtunity of the lack of males to strip quickly and change into her bikini.

Rebecca wasn't a friend so she wasn't exceptionally secure about her body around her, yet she made a point of turning away from the blonde teenager. Now donning her turquoise bikini which resembled the vague colours of a mermaid, she slipped her oversized t-shirt off, enjoying the sunny rays over her disordered body. "How do you get so tanned?" She wondered at Becca, eyeing her skeletal tummy ruefully.

Cassius was already up, looking at Adrien expectantly as he seemed impatient, his arms were crossed as he looked around the scenery looking for an open area they could play at. He caught some parts in his brother's talk with December and it made him scoff. Do girls really talk about pregnancy? Guess not. A smirk appeared on the wolf's features as he heard his brother approaching him, just walking with the man's pace. "I don't know why you had to drag me along here." He muttered before taking a swig of the beer he had at hand, taking his wand out casting a spell and just like that two broomsticks made their way to them, landing in range.

Now Cassius was never one for apologizing. Sure he'd apologize when he knew it was his fault full on, but when he didn't even start the ruckus in the first place? That was a different story. The man squinted as he looked around, one of his hand running through his hair. This was difficult. How was he going to say it in the first place? I'm sorry I had beef with your twerp. Sorry I nearly choked her to death because she was insulting our precious Marion, the girl we both fell in love with and you killed. Actually, there was no way in hell he would tell that to Adrien if he really wanted to make up that was. He shook his head in frustration as he took a deep breath before turning to Adrien, stretching.

"So, he said casually before pulling his shirt with a smirk spread across his face. "I have the brooms. Can we use your snitch?" He asked casually before he tossed the beer aside along with his shirt.
